Section 144 imposed in Akola
In the past few days, Akola district of Maharashtra has been the hottest city in the state. Not only this, the situation is still such that people are not able to even go out of their homes. The temperature in Akola district has been recorded above 45 degrees Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave warning in Akola, due to which the District Magistrate has implemented Section 144 of CRPC till May 31. This section has come into effect from May 25, 2024 i.e. Saturday.
Adequate arrangements for workers
Let us tell you that the Akola District Magistrate has also issued orders to make adequate arrangements for drinking water and fans for the working laborers. Apart from this, the District Magistrate has also issued instructions to change the timing of private coaching classes. He has banned the operation of children during the afternoon.
